When: Auditions for the 2017 Swing Choir will be held on Monday, January 30th at 5:30 pm in A103. Students should enter through door 37 in the cul-de-sac for the audition.

About Spring Trip: This year the swing choir will be traveling to Washington DC to compete in the Worldstrides Heritage Festival. We will leave on Thursday, April 27th and return on Sunday, April 30th. The trip costs approximately $875. By auditioning for this group you are committing to attend the entire rehearsal process and the trip, as well as cover the cost of the trip. Please be sure to read all of the spring trip forms and return them along with your swing choir application. 

About the Audition: Interested students must learn the selection from our Swing Choir Show "Beautiful: The Musical" the links to each of the vocal parts is below along with the sheet music. They should select the appropriate vocal part for their voice (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass). THE SONG MUST BE MEMORIZED. At the audition, they will be taught a short dance combination and will be expected to sing their part and dance at the same time, in groups of four; one person on each vocal part. Be sure to dress in form-fitting dance clothing.
